Traditionally, alcoholic beverage consumers tend to be more brand loyal in the beer and spirits categories, while consumers in the highly-fragmented wine category tend to put more value on style and experimentation. However, as craft beer grows in popularity, industry experts have noted this segment of the beer category is beginning to operate more like the wine category. Based on this assumption, Wine Opinions recently conducted a survey of 1,000 high-frequency wine drinkers in order to learn about their beer consumption habits.
