Wine Institute Opposes FET Bill with “Relatively Little Benefit” for Wineries
The Wine Institute has come out in opposition to The Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform act of 2015 proposed by Senator Wyden from Oregon. In a letter to Congress, WI chief Bobby Koch explained that the trade group feels the bill is well intentioned, but "fails to provide meaningful support for the nearly 8,000 wine producers spread across all fifty states."
