William Grant Prepping Reyka to Step out of Stoli’s Shadow

You may recall that in 2014 William Grant USA is parting ways with its biggest brand Stolichnaya vodka (see WSD 11-14-2012 ). But they're not taking the loss lying down. William Grant is already taking steps to replace the portfolio gap with its own Reyka vodka. Reyka was less than 20,000 cases in 2012, but William Grant USA's Lisa Pfenning, the category marketing director of innovation, tells WSD they expect it will grow about 250% this year.
