You may recall we reported back in June that Skyy Spirits' Wild Turkey and Jim Beam Brand's Old Crow Reserve are embroiled in litigation involving claims of trademark infringement over the term "Give 'Em The Bird." Wild Turkey is currently using the phrase in a national advertising campaign and claims that consumers have long associated "The Bird" with Wild Turkey. Jim Beam, meanwhile, was granted a trademark for the term in June, which it has been using for Old Crow Reserve since 2010.
