Wal-mart’s VP of Adult Beverages Discusses Take on Alcohol

Wal-mart is the largest brick and mortar retailer in the world, with 5,200 US stores and $288 billion in net sales during its fiscal year 2015, ended January 31. In recent years, the retailer has zeroed in on the alcohol category as a way to drive traffic and sales growth. You may recall, in 2013, the company vowed to double beer sales by 2017, which they are on track to do.
