WA Spirits Sales Increase Under Privatization, Oregon Still Skeptical

Spirits sales in Washington delivered a 15.4% volumes increase for July, according to new figures from the Washington Department of Revenue. Previously, volumes increased 26.6% in May due to retailers and consumers stocking up for the impending switch, and then promptly dropped -9.4% in June. The state attributes the drop in volume during June to inventories still being full.
