One of the more popular stories we've reported on this year has been the quarrel over Tennessee's Storage Statute. You may recall, Diageo filed a federal lawsuit against the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) after it was cited for violating the state's Storage Statute [see WSD 03-31-2014 ]. Diageo argued that not only had the TABC never actually cited anyone for violating the law until this year, but that the law violated that Commerce Clause and in order to comply with it, they would have to move the distilled spirits currently being stores in Kentucky back to Tennessee.
