Seems like we've hit a tipping point in the adoption of the grocery delivery concept.Today, Target announced it is beefing up its delivery game through an acquisition of delivery service Shipt Inc. for $550 million. This acquisition will bring same-day delivery service to roughly half of Target's stores nationwide by early 2018, with plans to expand to the majority of stores in all major markets by next year's holiday season.
