Spirits Volumes Gain During the Holidays

We've written a lot about wine this week, focusing on the fact that pricing improved for domestic wines and many of the top brands towards the end of 2010. Spirits is also showing a similar pattern, but with sales and volume growth. Off-premise data for food, drug, c-store and major market liquor stores in the period to December 11 as measured by Nielsen shows that dollar sales and volume improved on a rolling basis.
