Research Shows Super Premium and Value Spirits Gaining Share
For the first three quarters of 2012, spirits in the super premium and value segments outperformed those in the mid-tier price range, according to on-premise data from GuestMetrics. Their research shows that for the time period the super premium and value segments of the spirits category grew share by about 0.4 points, while the segments in the middle-tier lost 0.8 share points.
