You may recall from our coverage of the 2014 Wine Financial Symposium that the wine industry has been rattled by the rapid growth of the craft beer and spirits categories [see WSD 09-21-2014 ]. In response to the wine industry's concerns, the Wine Market Council conducted a survey of on-premise service professionals that resulted in a 47-page report aimed at giving the industry a better understand of consumer traits and drinking habits.
