Price Increases Drove 2014 Food, Beverage Sales On-Premise as Traffic Suffered

Now that we're a few weeks removed from 2014, the good people at GuestMetrics have had enough time to compile the on-premise data from last year. Overall, traffic to on-premise was down 1% (to venues that sell alcohol), but food and beverage sales were up 2% as prices increased, said GuestMetrics chief Bill Pecoriello at the Beer Business Daily Summit this week.
