Pernod Starts Fiscal Year Off on The Right Foot
Pernod Ricard has delivered a rebound performance in the first quarter of its new fiscal year with 8% growth for the US portfolio. Referencing Nielsen data on the earnings call earlier today, PR cfo Gilles Bogaert indicated volumes were up 3% and sales were up 7.5% for the period with premiumization going strong. He attributed the portfolio's US growth to a positive phasing cycle, a favorable comparison and an improved underlying performance.
