Pernod Scores a Win in Havana Club Dispute

You may recall, the thawing of US-Cuban relations has brought the previously-assumed-settled trademark dispute over Havana Club rum back into question. And for the first time in years it looks like Pernod Ricard may be back in the fight after the US Patent and Trademark Office decided the rightful owner of the US trademark for Havana Club rum is Cuban government company Cubaexport, reports the Miami Herald.
