Pernod Ricard Back to Pre-Economic Crisis Growth

Pernod Ricard had an exceptionally good fiscal 2012, delivering its best results since the economic crisis began in 2008. Organic profit increased 9% to $2.64 billion and underlying sales were up 8% for the year ending June 30. Pernod's success was driven by its premium brands. Worldwide, Pernod's Top 14 spirits (including: Absolut, Chivas, Jameson, Malibu, Beefeater, Kahlua, The Glenlivet, Mumm and Perrier Jouet) grew volumes 3% and sales 10%, totaling about 60% of the group's sales.
