Oregon Grocers not Satisfied with OLCC’s Attempts to Modernize
Recall we reported on Friday that the Oregon Liquor Control Commission had approved a new measure that would allow the state's liquor outlets to sell beer and wine along with spirits (see WSD 09-13-2013 ). The move was part of a push from the OLCC to modernize the state's alcohol policy and avoid a fight over privatization.But the Northwest Grocer's Association (NGA) isn't satisfied with these efforts and may rekindle the privatization push this fall.
