New Study Reveals By-the-Glass Wine Buying Patterns

In a recent study spanning February to November 2012, Restaurant Sciences analyzed 10 million wine purchases at family, casual, upscale and fine dining restaurants, in conjunction with nightclubs and hotel bars to determine consumers' by-the-glass wine buying habits. The restaurant industry analytics company found that the average pour size across all varietals is just a tad over six ounces, but the best value varietal for those six ounces may surprise you.
