NABCA’s Incoming Chairman Calls for Modernization
Mark Bodi of the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission took over as chairman of the NABCA board yesterday, replacing P.J. Stapleton of Pennsylvania. Mark didn't begin his career as a regulator. In fact, he was in advertising for years before going virtually the opposite direction, he said, addressing a crowd dressed ready for golf on the last day of NABCA's 75th annual conference. "I believe less government is good government.but of course we need laws.. Lately there have been some difficult tests that have tested" the association's historical unity amongst control states and with others parts of the industry, largely brought on by the "divisive and confusing Washington State referendum campaign."
