Maker’s Mark Controversy a Win?

Despite going up against its toughest comparison of the year, Beam Inc. is pleased with the results it delivered in its first quarter of 2013, ending March 31. Power brands and rising stars like Pinnacle, Maker's Mark, Skinnygirl and Sauza drove nearly 4% growth in the US, reported Beam's ceo Matt Shattock in the company's earnings call this morning.
