Major Spirits Companies Bet on Scotch

Scotch exports have risen 10% on average per year during the past five years, and there's a big reason for that. Consumers are flocking to the category. Much of its growth in the US is being driven by single malt Scotch, with dollar sales gaining 9% for the 4-weeks ending August 18, per Nielsen. As a result most of the major players in spirits are bulking up to meet growing demand.
