It's a good day for Major Brands and other Missouri distributors dealing with supplier fallout stemming from the MoBev v. Shelton Bros decision. You'll recall that controversial decision essentially struck down wholesaler franchise protection in Missouri (see WSD 04-23-2013 ). A ruling has been handed down on the Diageo v. Major Brands case, and the verdict is that Diageo and Major Brands do have a franchise relationship and a community of interest.
