Ivan Menezes gets Candid on Plans for Diageo
When Diageo ceo Paul Walsh hands the reigns over to coo Ivan Menezes next week (July 1) we are likely to see an "evolution not revolution" of the largest spirits company in the world, according to a new note from Bernstein Research. In the one-on-one with Bernstein's Trevor Stirling, Ivan revealed that his top priorities for Diageo are: driving emerging markets, keeping the US engine going and accelerating the growth in reserve brands (Johnnie Walker Blue, Ketel One, Don Julio etc.) and improving on execution and organizational agility.
