The US is still a hot market despite the turmoil in the political sphere. Earlier this year we reported that wine imports are on fire so far in 2018 [see WSD 03-12-2018]. Imported spirits have also been gaining speed in the first quarter of this year as volumes--which represent about 30% of total spirits volume share--were up just over 10%, per a recent BW166 report.
