How Consumer Buying Habits Online Differ from Overall Market
Last month we reported on Wine.com's release of its annual top 100 best-selling wine list. Something that struck our curiosity when looking at the list was that some trends, like the growth of white wine, reflected trends in the broad market, while import trends did not. And since Wine.com sells more than 2.6 million bottles a year (or 216,000 cases), has a presence in 42 states and has been growing 21% a year on average for the last six years, we wanted to dig a little deeper into the trends and demographics of the Wine.com consumer.
