Kentucky-based Western Spirits Beverage Co. hit the US market around 2009 with a handful of core brands including Twenty Grand Vodka, Tres Leches liqueur and Whitetail whiskey, but it was Bird Dog flavored whiskey that would put it on the map in the US. The brand catapulted to over 100,000 cases in a few short years, landing it on a number of hot brand lists.
