Chicken Cock Distilling (CCD) has filed a lawsuit against Heaven Hill Distilleries for the rights to launch its flavored whiskey brand Chicken Cock. Chicken Cock is set to launch in January 2013, but last month Heaven Hill, which own Fighting Cock brand, sent a cease and desist letter asserting that the Chicken Cock design and mark was confusingly similar to its own.
