FL Retailers to Descend on Capital
The push for spirits sales in grocery, big box and drug stores is expected to heat up again next week in Florida. The Floridians for For Fair Business Practices (FFBP) will be gathering at the state capital to try to persuade legislators to support a bill (HB 107) that would do away with the "alcohol separation law." Recall, the alcohol separation law allows grocery stores to sell wine and beer, but spirits must be sold in a separate store.
