Edgar Bronfman Says He Will Appeal Sentence

A Paris judge has given Edgar Bronfman Jr, grandson of Samuel Bronfman and former Seagram Co chief, a 15-month suspended prison sentence and ordered him to pay a $6.7 million fine for illegal insider trading. Former Vivendi Chairman Jean-Marie Messier was also convicted for lying to investors about Vivendi's finances.
