The Distilled Spirits Council has a new chief. Industry veteran Chris Swonger will take the helm of the organization, effective November 12, relieving interim chief Clarkson Hine of his duties. You'll recall, the DSC began looking for a replacement for Kraig Naasz earlier this year, who left the spirits industry to rejoin his partners at Washington2 Advocates in the Pacific Northwest [see WSD 04-27-2018].
