Amidst all the clishmaclaver about giant wholesalers this month, we wanted to switch gears a bit today to feature a growing medium-sized wholesaler: Opici Family Distributing, the wholesale arm of Opici Wine Group led by Dina Opici. Opici handles a wide variety of wine and spirits in NY, NJ, CT, FL, MD, DE and D.C. Coming off its recent expansion into the Mid-Atlantic in 2013, the company grew 6%-8% in 2015 and will be expanding into Virginia this year.
