You will recall, Bacardi and Cuban government entity Cubaexport are deadlocked in a tense fight over the rights to the Havana Club name in the US. On Friday, Cubaexport, who is partnered with Pernod Ricard to distribute Havana Club rum internationally, filed a motion to dismiss the amended complaint from Bacardi, and if that doesn't work, they'll take a summary judgement.
