WSD recently learned that Craig Wolf, ceo of the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America, is being deployed to Afghanistan at the end of April for 200 days. Craig is a Captain in the United States Army Reserve and joined the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG Corps) post 9/11 in 2003. This group is composed of Army officers who are also lawyers and who provide legal services to the Army at all levels of command. "I thought it was important to help out when our country is at war," he said. "I've been in the Corps for about 8 years now and thought it was an appropriate time to put in my service." We spoke with Craig this afternoon, who told us he is excited to serve his country and feels confident that the WSWA is in good hands in his absence.
