2017 was a big year for craft alcohol makers in the US. The distillery count was up to 1,400 for the year, per the annual Coppersea Distilling white paper. That count includes 1,200 Craft Distilleries, and 200 Other Craft Producers (those infusing liqueurs or Amari, or blending from spirit made elsewhere).
