Constellation Execs on Pricing, Innovations and Outlook

A big part of Constellation's strategy in fiscal 2012 (calendar 2011) is premiumizing its portfolio and launching new brands. It seems this is a good time to strike as the on-premise is "showing signs of stabilization" but has yet to return to pre-recession levels. Even better, they are seeing "strong trade up trends" and "positive mix trends," said Jay Wright, president of Constellation Wines North America, during the company's meeting with investors today.
