Category Growth “Definitely Slower” in 2017
2017 has not been a year for the record books thus far. Not for alcohol, not for the larger CPG category. Things started to slow in November 2016, and although category performance did recover some once we got into 2017, growth is "definitely slower than what it was," Nielsen's Danny Brager tells WSD, adding that it's hit all categories and price points.
