Campari US Sales up 7.5% in Q1

Campari kicked off 2017 with sales up 7.5% in the US for the first quarter ended March 31, despite a tough comparison base (up 14.8% in Q1 2016). The US accounted for about 30.1% of total sales, which chief Bob Kunze-Concewitz noted in this morning's earnings call is "over proportional growth" and "a little above what we would expect on a full year basis" as the US typically accounts for about 27%-28% of sales.
