Bourbon’s Increasing TV Presence
Bourbon is making a play for more television air time as the category grows double digits, helped by small-batch offerings and flavor extensions. Case in point: today Wild Turkey is launching its first ever US television ad campaign that seeks to establish its tagline, "Give 'em the Bird," as a call name at bars."You come into the US and it's all about calling brands. Hence, 'Give 'em the Bird,' is another way of calling Wild Turkey in a bar," said Umberto Luchini, head of marketing for parent company Campari America, reports the AP. The ads will run on ESPN, Comedy Central, Spike, TNT and TBS.
