Suntory Holdings' acquisition of Beam Inc. is on schedule to close in the second quarter of 2014, and as a result, Beam did not hold an earnings call for its full year results out today. Its North American performance outpaced several other markets with 5% net sales growth for the year, which was a bit slower than 2012 sales results, up 7%. Meanwhile, reported net sales for the company grew 4% in both the quarter and full year ended December 31. Net sales set a record at $2.55 billion.
