Bacardi USA told WSD that it "is establishing relationships" with new distributors in four states. That includes Wirtz Beverage Group in Illinois and Republic National Distributing Company in Kentucky, Ohio and North Dakota. "This is part of our long-term business strategy that aligns our brands to compete more efficiently and effectively in the future," spokesman Joe Gerbino told us.
