There's a lot to report on after Brown-Forman's H1 earnings call this morning and we'll get to it all, but the most important bit of information we gathered is that Bacardi may be looking to break from its US distribution alliance with B-F and Remy Cointreau. When RBC managing director Nik Modi questioned the B-F brass about Bacardi initiating a Request for Proposal (RFP) to distributors and what the implications could be, B-F chief Paul Varga responded:
