B-F Tapping Into New Trends

In recent years Brown-Forman has slowly shed its wine businesses, most recently Fetzer, and shifted their focus even more on spirits. With that they are boosting their portfolio with new launches, line extensions and packaging, aiming to tap into recent consumer trends. Obviously whiskey is a big focus for the company. But also "we're seeing tequila as a great opportunity in the US," as well as with the ready-to-drink arena, said cfo Don Berg at the Barclays Capital Back to School conference.
