Brown-Forman is getting in on the Irish Whiskey craze. The company has acquired Slane Castle Irish Whiskey Ltd and intends to invest $50 million to build a new distillery in County Meath, Ireland. The Slane Irish Whiskey Distillery is scheduled to open in late 2016 and new whiskeys will hit the market spring 2017.
