Earlier this year, Diageo and Brown-Forman clashed of the state's definition of Tennessee whiskey [see WSD 03-14-2014]. The debated ended in March when Tennessee legislature tabled a proposal to redefine Tennessee whiskey in order to form a research committee over the break. The legislature is expected to take up the issue again once the 2015 session begins in January and both parties are already prepping them.
