Artesa President on Being in the “Dirty Middle”
Set on a hilltop in the Carneros region of Napa Valley, Artesa Vineyards & Winery is owned by the Spanish winemaking dynasty Cordoniu and was originally built as a sparkling wine house. In the '90s the winery transitioned into producing still wines and renamed the facility Artesa. Today the brand does about 60,000 cases under the Artesa name, 20,000 under the Elements label and 1,100 cases of Cordoniu sparkling wine.
