San Francisco's Anchor Brewing and Distilling is splitting into two separate entities following the sale of Anchor Brewing to Japan's Sapporo Holdings. Anchor Distilling Co. (ADC) was not involved in the deal, and will become a stand alone company once the brewery acquisition is completed.
