Pernod Ricard affiliate Irish Distillers has entered into exclusive negotiations to sell the Paddy Irish Whiskey brand to Sazerac. Paddy is the 4th largest Irish whiskey brand in the world, selling 200,000 cases in 28 countries. Irish Distillers will continue to produce the brand at its Midleton Distillery and all employees would remain in place, per a release.
