Utah-based High West Distillery is up for auction and Pernod Ricard has been named as one of the bidders, according to people familiar with the matter, reports Bloomberg. High West would be Pernod's first American whiskey brand since selling Wild Turkey. Investment bank UBS Group AG is handling the sale.
