Breakthru Beverage Group has acquired wholesaler Bacchus Importers from the extended Merinoff family--which includes Breakthru chairman Charlie Merinoff and various other family members--formally bringing the company under the Breakthru umbrella. No price was disclosed, but under the agreement, Bacchus will operate independently from Breakthru and retain its current team, name and business strategy, per a release.
