WSD recently caught up with Michael Phillips, co-owner and ceo of Lodi-based Michael David Winery, which produces 7 Deadly Zins and Petite Petit among others. In early March they started rolling out a new wine brand, Freak Show - a 2009 Lodi Cabernet that retails for $18 with plans to offer other varietals under the label in the future.
