A Close Battle in Washington
We know, we know. Close only counts with horseshoes and hand grenades. But it's interesting to think that things easily could have been different in Washington State. The Supreme Court could have tossed out Initiative 1183. Retailers and distributors would have had to go back on months of work and preparation. The legislature would have likely gotten involved. It would have kept the Washington story alive for months to come, given us endless content and reason to belabor an already belabored subject. But since that's not happening - how about a quick look at what the dissenting judges said?
